Michelle Deeg-Davis serves as Assistant Professor of Counseling at George Fox University's Graduate School of Counseling, concurrently directing the Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Marriage, Couple, Family Counseling In-Person Programs and the Trauma Response Institute.
Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Political Science (2006) and Master of Arts in School Counseling (2009), both from Idaho State University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision at Oregon State University.
Her research integrates trauma-informed care frameworks across clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, and school-based interventions, reflecting her extensive frontline experience in educational and therapeutic settings.
Professional leadership includes developing trauma response protocols through the Trauma Response Institute and supervising master's-level counseling students during prior school counseling roles.
