Dr. Michelle DeWolfe is Professor of Economic Geology and Igneous Petrology at Mount Royal University. She holds a Ph.D. in mineral deposits and Precambrian geology from Laurentian University. Professional background includes mineral exploration with industry leaders Falconbridge Ltd. (Glencore) and FNX Mining (KGHM).
Current research examines volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits across multiple geological formations globally, including Slave craton, Trans Hudson orogen, West Greenland, northern Appalachians, and southern Indian Ocean seafloor systems.
