Michelle Bellingham

Michelle Bellingham is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Glasgow, specializing in Physiology, Ageing & Welfare. Her research focuses on the transgenerational effects of maternal exposure to environmental chemicals, particularly endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs), on reproductive and metabolic health in sheep and human models.

She has contributed to policy changes in prenatal care and led Athena SWAN award initiatives. Supervision includes PhD students on topics like transgenerational effects of EDCs, biosolids impacts, and oxidative stress in marine species. Grants from NIH, Wellcome Trust, and BBSRC support her work.
