Michel LOUAZEL

Michel Louazel is a Professor at EHESP School of Public Health and serves as Director of the Institute of Management and Director of the Specialized Master’s Degree in Health Management. He holds a PhD in Economic Sciences from the University of Rennes 1 (1995). His career includes roles as Research Professor at Audencia Business School and Head of Continuing Education at ENSP (now EHESP).

Research focuses on healthcare system evolution, hospital restructuring, and cooperative strategies between health institutions. Key projects include analyzing 'Mother-Child' complexes in public hospitals and territorial networks of non-profit healthcare establishments. He participates in national initiatives like the QUALSOPRIM project evaluating primary care quality.

Teaching spans strategy education for hospital directors, health inspectors, and master’s students. He has led the Health Management Specialized Master since its creation in 2013. International training missions include Vietnam, Algeria, and Congo.

Expertise includes strategic support for healthcare establishments, medical project development, and territorial health system planning. His work addresses coordination mechanisms, health law, and reducing social/territorial inequalities in healthcare access.
