Michel Gobat: Academic Overview
Michel Gobat is a Professor and Chair in the Department of History at the University of Pittsburgh, within the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on Latin American history, international relations, and transnational social movements, with an emphasis on U.S.-Latin American interactions. He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago (1998) and has taught at prestigious institutions such as the University of Iowa and Harvard University.
