Michel Benaroch

Michel Benaroch is the Associate Dean for Research and Ph.D. Programs and Professor of Management Information Systems at the Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from New York University.

His research focuses on the economics of cybersecurity, IT investments, IT risk management, and AI applications in finance and business. He has published in top journals such as MIS Quarterly and Information Systems Research, ranking #26 among global top-100 Information Systems researchers (1999-2011).

Teaching spans business analytics, IT management, and database systems. He has also taught at the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), NYU, and the University of Rochester.
