Michealla Lincoln is an Assistant Professor at Northumbria University within the Social Work, Education & Community Wellbeing school, specializing in clinical training for psychological therapies. She leads the Pg Dip CBT Programme and has over 26 years of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) as a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Supervisor, and Senior Cognitive Behaviour Therapist.

- Current PhD candidate in Public Health focusing on Parent-led CBT training efficacy
Her research examines how clinical training impacts practitioners' confidence and competence, aiming to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families.
Recent collaborations include evaluating Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner roles in CAMHS, published in Clinical Child Psychology and Psychiatry (2023). She participates in NHS wellbeing research activities (2024–2025).
