Publications reflect themes such as Afro-Asian literary connections, petro-culture critiques, and speculative fiction analysis. His 2021 article in Oil Fictions: World Literature and Our Contemporary Petrosphere highlights oil's geopolitical and cultural symbolism in Amitav Ghosh's work.
Scientific Awards:
- Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellowship
As a postdoctoral fellow, Rumore contributes to the Writing and Communication Program through teaching English Composition II (ENGL-1102) and advancing research on transnational literatures.
