Michał Filipiak

Michał Filipiak is a Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, University of Arts in Poznań. Since 2014, he has led the Interdisciplinary Design Studio, focusing on the interplay between matter, light, and functional design across product design, graphic design, and exhibition design.

• Education: Master's in Design (Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, 2002), Doctorate (2009), and Postdoctoral Degree (2017).

His research explores the relationship between materiality and light, with a focus on creating functional objects, light structures, and immersive exhibition spaces. He has also contributed to interior architecture and visual identity design.
