Michał Latko

Michał Latko is a Master of Arts graduate in Industrial Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, with additional education in Innovation Management from the Poznań School of Humanities and Journalism. Since 2018, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Product Design Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, where he teaches visualization techniques and collaborates on design projects.

Michał has earned multiple awards, including the European Product Design Award (2021), Śląska Rzecz prizes (2008, 2018, 2020), and international recognitions like the Red Dot and iF Awards. He has contributed to significant design exhibitions in Detroit, Berlin, and Warsaw.

Collaborating with institutions such as the Silesian Voivodeship Marshal's Office and leading Polish studios, Latko integrates academic practice with industry innovation. His work includes projects for automotive giants (Volvo, Ford), public space revitalization, and socially inclusive designs like accessible playground equipment for disabled children.
