Andrzej Klisz

Andrzej Klisz is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He holds a PhD (2011) and graduated with a spatial design diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice) in 1984. He teaches the Public Space Design Studio and has extensive professional experience in product, spatial, and graphic design. Klisz has designed exhibition booths for Polish companies at international fairs in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Cologne. His industrial designs were showcased at prestigious events such as the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Étienne, GaLaBau in Nuremberg, and Milan Design Week. He served as the Academy’s representative in the Silesian Design Cluster in Cieszyn between 2012 and 2015. His work has earned him two nominations for the Śląska Rzecz award.
