Michail Kokkoris

Michail Kokkoris is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam. He previously held positions at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of Cologne. He has visiting scholar roles at Stanford University and Nanyang Technological University. His research explores decision-making, identity, self-expression, and self-control at the intersection of psychology and marketing. He has been awarded grants from the European Commission, DFG, and others, and his work is published in top journals like Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. He supervises PhD students and teaches courses in consumer behavior and marketing.
