Michaela Ritter serves as the Martin Family Endowed Chair in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Baylor University’s Robbins College of Health & Human Sciences. She is a certified speech-language pathologist and director of the Baylor University Language and Literacy Clinic and Camp Success.
- EdD in Curriculum and Instruction (Communication Sciences and Disorders), Baylor University
- MS in Speech-Language Pathology, University of Louisville
Dr. Ritter’s research focuses on language and literacy outcomes in children with developmental language disorders and autism spectrum disorder. Her work emphasizes assessment and treatment of oral/written language disorders, bridging language development to reading and spelling challenges.
She leads the Child and Adolescent Language and Literacy Lab (CALL) and teaches courses in speech sound disorders, mentored teaching, and mentored research.
