Michaela Devries-Aboud is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. Her research focuses on intramyocellular lipid (IMCL) distribution in muscle fibers, insulin sensitivity, and the metabolic impacts of exercise and nutrition across populations. She investigates sex-based differences in metabolism and aging-related muscle decline (sarcopenia).
