Michael Young

Michael Young is Associate Professor and Coordinator of Graduate Studies. As founding partner of Young & Ayata, his practice has received multiple awards including the Progressive Architecture Award and Design Vanguard Award. His work explores material experimentation and representational techniques.

He authored 'Reality Modeled After Images' (2021) and 'The Estranged Object' (2015), and was the 2019-20 Rome Prize Fellow. His projects include the Bauhaus Museum in Dessau and Guggenheim Helsinki proposal.
