Michael Yaroshevsky is an Associate Professor (Film Production) and Undergraduate Program Director in the Cinema department at Concordia University. He holds an MA in the History of Art from the University of Toronto, focusing on medieval narrative devices and 19th-century Realism, alongside an MFA in Film Production. His professional career spans cinematography, screenwriting, and filmmaking, with notable works including Petropolis, Death Valley Superstar, and La Version nouvelle. His work on Ulla von Brandenburg's Around is part of the Tate Modern's permanent collection.
