Michael Thelwell

Dr. Michael Thelwell is a Research Fellow in advanced human body measurement and 3D surface-imaging at Sheffield Hallam University's School of Sport and Physical Activity, within the Sports Engineering Research Group. His work focuses on improving health assessments through innovative measurement techniques, particularly in cancer treatment optimization and metabolic syndrome detection. He holds a PhD from Sheffield Hallam University (2021) and has collaborated with Leipzig University and La Trobe University.
