Michael T. Durney

Michael T. Durney is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business. His research focuses on judgment and decision-making in financial reporting, with implications for corporate disclosures and investor behavior. He holds a PhD in Accounting from Cornell University, an MS in Management from Cornell University, and a MAC in Professional Accountancy and BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Durney is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Georgia.
