Michael Stolpe

Michael Stolpe serves as Senior Economist at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, leading the Global Health Economy project within the Research Center Global Transformation. He maintains active teaching in health economics at the University of Kiel and holds pivotal roles across major research initiatives: founding membership in the DFG Cluster of Excellence 'Precision Medicine,' co-leadership in the Leibniz Lab 'Pandemic Preparedness' (mobilizing 41 research institutes), and principal investigator positions in Leibniz Research Alliances on infections and resilient ageing.
