Michael Squire

Michael Squire is a Reader in Classical Art at King’s College London, with dual British and German nationality. He divides his time between London and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG) in Berlin, where he is currently researching vision, description, and subjectivity in Philostratus’ Imagines. His academic journey includes degrees from Trinity College, Cambridge, a Frank Knox Fellowship at Harvard, and a junior research fellowship at Christ’s College, Cambridge.
