Michael Sarich, MFA, is an Emeritus Associate Professor and former Area Head of Painting at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is affiliated with the Department of Art, Art History and Design, housed within the School of the Arts under the College of Liberal Arts. His work spans painting, printmaking, ceramics, and sculpture, characterized by narrative icons and universal metaphorical imagery.

- BFA in Printmaking, Northern Illinois University (1980)
Research & Exhibitions: Sarich’s art has been featured in solo and joint exhibitions internationally, including Solo Exhibition Props (James Patrick Gallery, 2005), Michael Sarich: A Selectrospective (Oats Park Art Center, 2006), and Michael Sarich: Hush and Babel (Missoula Art Museum, 2014). His practice emphasizes interdisciplinary creativity across media.
