Michael S Wolf is a Professor of Medicine and Medical Social Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He serves as Associate Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Medicine and Director of the Center for Applied Health Research on Aging within the Institute for Public Health and Medicine (IPHAM).

- Postdoctoral Training: Health Services Research at Northwestern University (2002)
His research focuses on cognitive, psychosocial, and health system factors affecting health management, particularly in aging populations. The HeLP lab specializes in health literacy, medication adherence, chronic disease self-management, and technology-enabled patient education. Recent work examines mild cognitive impairment, triadic care encounters, and disparities in Latino brain health.
Scientific advisory roles include memberships with NIH/NINDS, FDA, and National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine (2014-present). Industry collaborations with Luto Research and PCORI demonstrate his translational research focus.
