Michael Richter is an Assistant Professor at the Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance within the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY). He holds a PhD in Economics from New York University (2012), an MS in Mathematics from the University of Oregon (2004), and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago (2002).
Research Interests: His work spans Microeconomic Theory, Game Theory, and Behavioral Economics, focusing on topics like aspiration-based choice, switching costs, matching markets, and mechanism design. His research often bridges mathematical rigor with behavioral insights.
