Michael Reynolds is an Associate Professor specializing in Near Eastern Studies, with research spanning Ottoman and modern Middle Eastern history, Russian and Eurasian history, the Caucasus, international relations, nationalism, and US/Turkish foreign policy. His scholarly work includes the acclaimed book Shattering Empires, recognized by the American Historical Association, Financial Times, and Choice.
