Dr. Lucien Frary is a Professor in the Department of History and Philosophy at Rider University, specializing in Mediterranean studies, Slavic research, and Eastern Orthodox history. His work focuses on Russian-Ottoman relations, particularly Russia's engagement with the Near East during the post-Byzantine era, and the Eastern Question.
