Michael Opferman is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Physics department at Temple University. He holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on polymer brushes, grafted polymer films, and their applications to biophysical systems like the Nuclear Pore Complex. He has collaborated with institutions including Los Alamos National Laboratory and previously lectured at the University of Pittsburgh before joining Temple in 2015.
