Michael Ohajuru

Mr Michael Ohajuru is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, specializing in Independent Art and Cultural Historian roles. His research focuses on Black British history, particularly the presence of Black people in Renaissance Europe and the life of John Blanke, a Black trumpeter in the courts of Henry VII and VIII. He co-convenes the 'What's Happening in Black British History' workshop series and contributes to projects like www.blackbritishhistory.co.uk.
