Michael Mulhern is a retired Associate Professor in the Department of Studio Art at Boston College, affiliated with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a B.F.A. from the University of Dayton and an M.F.A. from Columbia University. His research focuses on drawing techniques, particularly camouflage, polymorphic-tweening, and steganography, exploring themes of observation and the mind’s reconstruction of visual information. His work has been exhibited in notable venues, including the Lorand Gallery in Boston and multiple exhibitions at the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery at the University of Connecticut Avery Point. Notable exhibitions include:
