Michael Matheson Miller

Michael Matheson Miller is a Research Fellow at the Acton Institute and the director/producer of the award-winning documentary Poverty, Inc. He has also led the PovertyCure DVD Series and served as Director of Media and Director of Programs and International at the Acton Institute.

• Education: Graduate degrees in Philosophy, International Development, and International Business; graduate of The Busch School.

His work spans research interests in international development, entrepreneurship, political economy, social philosophy, and cultural issues. He has facilitated hands-on learning seminars for entrepreneurship minors at Ciocca Center, integrating students, local businesses, and entrepreneurs.

He has 10 years of international experience across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Media appearances include FOX Business, CNBC, and radio programs. Publications include The New York Post, The Washington Times, and Real Clear Politics.
