Michael Marmot

Professor Michael Marmot is a leading epidemiologist at University College London (UCL), where he serves as Director of the UCL Institute of Health Equity and holds the Professorship in Epidemiology & Public Health since 1985. He also holds the Bernard Lown Visiting Professorship at Harvard University and has contributed to global health policy through his advisory role with the WHO Director-General.
