Michael Mack

Michael (Mike) Mack is a Professor of Sneaker Design (2023–present) and Accessory Design (2019–present) at the School of Fashion, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). He holds a B.F.A. in Industrial Design from SCAD and a Master Certificate in Fashion Footwear Design from Polimoda.

His professional career spans over 15 years in footwear and accessory design, including roles as a designer/developer at companies like Steve Madden, Camuto Group (Jessica Simpson brand), Levi's, and V12 Footwear. He has extensive experience in design innovation, product development, trend analysis, and global manufacturing coordination, with frequent trips to China and other production hubs.

As founder of Michael Grey Footwear (2013–present), Mack oversees all aspects of the brand, including design, sourcing, and business operations. Notable collaborations include work with PYRE MOSS, featured in Vogue (2018). His design expertise spans men's, women's, and bespoke footwear, emphasizing craftsmanship and brand identity.
