Michael M. Prinzing

Michael M. Prinzing is a Research and Assessment Scholar at the Educating Character Initiative within Wake Forest University's Program for Leadership and Character. He previously held postdoctoral positions at Baylor University and Yale University, following a PhD in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a BPhil from Oxford, and a BA from UCLA.

• Research Focus: Explores intersections of morality, well-being, and meaning in life, with an emphasis on pro-environmental behavior (PEB) and its psychological impacts.
• Key Findings: Demonstrated that PEB correlates with increased happiness and meaning, both within- and between-persons, and that messages linking PEB to well-being enhance attitudes toward sustainability and persuasive communication.
