Michael Longinow is a tenured full Professor of Journalism in the Division of Communication at Biola University. He serves as the adviser for The Chimes Media Group, which includes a digital daily newspaper, a twice-annual feature magazine, and a podcast network. Previously, he was a nationally recognized writer, scholar, and educator with a career spanning teaching, reporting, and media consulting roles.

Longinow's research and expertise focus on intersections of journalism, religion, and media, as well as cultural diversity, gender issues, and pop culture in Christian contexts.
