Michael Lodi is a Junior Assistant Professor (fixed-term) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bologna since February 2023, specializing in Informatics (INFO-01/A). Previously, he served as a Research Fellow and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science Education at the same department from November 2019 to 2022.
His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (2020, University of Bologna, grade: excellent), a Master's degree in Computer Science (Theoretical CS, cum laude, 2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (cum laude, 2010), all from the University of Bologna. He also holds a High School teaching license in Computer Science (2015, grade: 99/100).
Dr. Lodi's research centers on integrating Computer Science and Computational Thinking into K-12 education, with intense focus on teacher training and professional development.
