Michael Lemke

Michael Lemke is a Professor of Ceramics at the University of Northern Colorado, affiliated with the College of Performing and Visual Arts and the School of Art and Design. He has operated Lemke Ceramic Design studio since 1999, managed pottery facilities for production potters and schools, and exhibited artwork globally in locations such as Taiwan and Japan with gallery representation across the U.S.

• Education: MFA in Ceramics from Kansas State University, BA from the University of Northern Colorado.

His research and professional work centers on ceramics, aligning with the educational and creative missions of the School of Art and Design. He has mentored numerous students, including advisees listed in the School of Art and Design.
