Michael Kim is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Asian and Asian American Studies at Stony Brook University. He holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Health Professions and is a licensed acupuncturist in New York. Additionally, he teaches at the New York College of Health Professions across all levels of their acupuncture program and currently serves as Interim Dean and Clinic Director at the Graduate School of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

Recent scholarship emphasizes critical analysis of violent extremism’s gendered dimensions and innovative approaches to male relationships.
