Michael Jopling is a Professor of Education at the University of Brighton, affiliated with the School of Education, Sport and Health. His career includes previous roles as Professor and Director of the Education Observatory at the University of Wolverhampton (2017-2022) and Professor in Education at Northumbria University (2014-2017). He actively contributes to academic networks, serving as convenor of the EERA's Children and Youth at Risk and Education network and co-editor of Human Data Interaction, Disadvantage and Skills in the Community: Enabling Cross-Sector Environments for Postdigital Inclusion (2023).
