Michael Hwang

Michael Hwang, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. He is originally from South Korea and holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Johns Hopkins University. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his internal medicine residency at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

His professional affiliations include membership in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Hwang’s research interests align with his clinical focus on hospital medicine, internal medicine, and improving patient care outcomes. Personal interests include basketball and traveling.
