Eric Chang

Eric Chang, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Hospital Medicine. He serves as Assistant Medical Director of Clinical Operations at UT Southwestern, Chair of the IT Committee, Chair of the Surgery-Medicine User Group at Parkland, and member of the Enterprise User Group at Parkland.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cell biology from Rice University (Houston)
• Medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center
• Completed internal medicine residency at Indiana University (Indianapolis)

His professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and Society of Hospital Medicine. His clinical and administrative focus includes hospital medicine, clinical operations optimization, and healthcare IT integration. Outside medicine, he enjoys travel, outdoor activities, basketball, and culinary pursuits.
