Michael Goodsite

Professor Michael Goodsite serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Operations and Commercialisation) and Managing Director of ICP Pty Ltd at the University of Adelaide. He contributes to the Executive Leadership Group of the Division of Research and Innovation, overseeing strategic goals in research infrastructure and commercialization. His leadership extends to co-leading efforts for the University of Adelaide and UniSA amalgamation, and he represents the university in government and industry engagements.

He has led initiatives like the In Situ Resource Utilisation (ISRU) program, which evolved into the Andy Thomas Centre for Space Resources, and spearheaded the Faculty of ECMS commercialization framework.

Professor Goodsite holds multiple honors, including:

With extensive experience in academia, public policy, and private-sector leadership across 19 countries since 1996, he has directed research institutes, served on boards, and co-chaired committees. His prior roles include Director of the Nordic Centre of Excellence for Strategic Adaptation Research and Chief Operating Officer of the Region of Southern Denmark.
