Michael Garriga serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of English & Creative Writing at Baldwin Wallace University, with publications featured in Esquire, Southern Review, New Letters, and Oxford American. His 2014 short story collection 'The Book of Duels' (Milkweed Editions) was selected for The Best Small Fictions anthology.
Academic credentials include:

Research focuses on Southern literature examining regional identity, crime fiction with emphasis on noir traditions, and men's studies within contemporary American literary contexts. His creative scholarship explores narrative conflict and masculine archetypes through both critical analysis and original fiction.
