Michael E. Wechsler

Michael E. Wechsler, MD, MMSc, is a Professor of Medicine at National Jewish Health (NJH) in Denver, Colorado. He serves as Director of the NJH Cohen Family Asthma Institute and Associate Vice President for Innovation and Industry Relations. His clinical and research focus spans pulmonary medicine, critical care, and sleep medicine, with a specialization in asthma and eosinophilic diseases.

• Education: AB and MMSc from Harvard University; MD from McGill University.
• Research Interests: Clinical and translational asthma, novel biologic therapies, bronchial thermoplasty, asthma pharmacogenomics, and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).
