Michael Dee

Michael Dee is an Associate Professor of Isotope Chronology at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Science and Engineering, within the Isotope Research Department. His research focuses on radiocarbon dating, cosmogenic isotopes, and chronological frameworks for archaeological and historical contexts. He leads major projects like the ERC-funded CONTACT (2023-2028) and ECHOES (2017-2022), which explore Norse transatlantic colonies and exact chronologies of early societies.
