Michael Davies

Professor Michael Davies is an epidemiologist affiliated with the Robinson Research Institute at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. He co-directs the Lifecourse and Intergenerational Health Research Group within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

His research explores social and biological pathways to health across the life course, with a focus on how periconceptional and pregnancy-related factors influence long-term health trajectories. He investigates fertility decision-making and the safety and effectiveness of infertility treatments, contributing to understanding intergenerational health impacts.

Professor Davies is eligible to supervise Masters and PhD students and maintains active research collaborations. His work integrates epidemiological frameworks to address critical questions in maternal and child health and reproductive medicine.
