Michael David-Fox is a Professor at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and Director of the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies. He specializes in Russian/Soviet history, focusing on political culture, WWII, Stalinism, and Putinism. David-Fox earned his A.B. from Princeton and PhD from Yale. His research integrates archival work in former Soviet archives with transnational perspectives, emphasizing the entanglement of Soviet and Nazi systems during WWII.
