Michael C. Burda is a Professor of Economics at Humboldt University zu Berlin's School of Business and Economics, where he serves as Director of the Institute for Economic Theory II (Macro). He holds additional prestigious affiliations as a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London and Program Director and Research Fellow at the Institut Zukunft der Arbeit (IZA) in Bonn, while also being a Fellow of the European Economic Association.
