Silke Anger is a Professor of Economics, especially Education Economics, at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg since 2013. She also serves as Head of the Research Department 'Education, Qualification and Employment Careers' at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). Her academic journey includes a doctorate from Humboldt University of Berlin (2005) and habilitation there in 2013, alongside research stays at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, University of Stirling, and University of California, Santa Barbara.
