Michael Bishof

Michael Bishof is a Researcher at Argonne National Laboratory, affiliated with the Physics Division. He contributes to projects in the Fundamental Symmetries group and the TRACER Center, focusing on atomic and nuclear physics.

Education:

• PhD in Physics, University of Colorado at Boulder (2014)
• Supervised by Prof. Jun Ye at JILA (University of Colorado/NIST)

His research centers on experimental atomic and nuclear physics, particularly the measurement of the electric dipole moment (EDM) of Radium-225 and quantum simulations using optical tweezer arrays of single Yb atoms. He also advances atom trap trace analysis (ATTA) for broader scientific applications.
