Michael B. Hager is a Postgraduate Associate at the Yale Child Study Center, affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine. He is currently completing his doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology at The New School for Social Research. His research focuses on developing the Parent Rearing Coding System (PRCS), an observational measure assessing parental reflective functioning and sensitivity in parent-child interactions. He has presented work at leading conferences including the International Attachment Conference, AACAP, WAIMH, and SEAS.

Research & Clinical Experience: Hager has completed clinical externships at institutions including Montefiore Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and The New School's Counseling Center. He currently serves as a senior research assistant at the Center for Attachment Research and a research consultant for Nurse-Family Partnership/Child First's Center for Prevention and Early Trauma Treatment. His work bridges developmental psychology, relational models, and clinical interventions for early childhood mental health.
