Michael B. Gerrard serves as the Andrew Sabin Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia Law School and Director of the Center for Climate Change Law, while also holding the position of Associate Chair of Columbia University’s Earth Institute faculty. After 29 years as partner-in-charge of Arnold & Porter LLP’s New York environmental practice, he transitioned to academia in 2009, maintaining Senior Counsel status at the firm while establishing himself as a leading climate law scholar.
